Sunday I got what is to be my final tattoo. I love it. However, in the process of getting it, the phrase "too old for this shit" came to mind. It didn't help that the guy doing it had a pretty heavy hand and it was the most painful one I've ever gotten. It's also interfered with my life. I haven't been able to work out all week because of the discomfort.
I don't find tattoos immature or something professional people shouldn't have. I do kind of think there's a stage of life you can get them in though. That's different ages for everybody and can sometimes happen more than once or twice in a lifetime but I don't think I'm at that stage now and I sort of hope I'm never at that stage again.
